A family-run group
It’s not only what you know—it’s who you know.
Roofing and tree surgery are at the heart of Laymac Group. We bring you trusted contractors we’ve worked with over many years, backed by the Butcher family’s experience. We also cover groundworks, building, windows and doors.
Who we are
A family who knows the trade, and the people in it.
Laymac Group is led by Robert Butcher, whose family background is in roofing, building and groundworks. We are not one big in-house firm. We are your gateway to experienced contractors we have worked alongside for years, and we will always be clear about who is doing your job.

Our connection to Tulleys Farm
A working relationship that began in the late 1960s. Three generations of the Butcher family have carried out surfacing and groundwork at Tulleys Farm. It is the kind of long-standing trust our network is built on.

Customer reviews
In their words. Driveways and resin.
These Google reviews were left for the separate Laymac surfacing business, covering driveway and resin work. They are not reviews of Laymac Group’s groundworks, building, roofing, tree surgery, or windows and doors services.
Laymac surfacing website (opens in a new tab)Really pleased with my new resin driveway from Laymac. The whole job was completed to a very high standard, and the finished driveway looks fantastic. The workmanship, quality and overall service were excellent from start to finish.
I’m very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Laymac to anyone looking for a new resin driveway. Great job!
